Established in 2002 by owner Brian Blankenship, Diamond Construction Services, Inc. is a premier custom home builder that can incorporate “green” energy efficient features into your next home in Hernando County or the surrounding area.

Diamond Construction offers several models to choose from including the featured Ruby II model and the Amethyst model. We can build these models for you or you can use them as a starting point and modify what you want. Or we can start from scratch and design and build you a unique custom home. Bring us your sketch or professional blueprints or we can work up the design with you. Whichever home we build for you comes with many quality standard features.

One of the specialties at Diamond Construction is the Craftsman Style Bungalow home. The Craftsman style architecture was popularized in the early 1900’s by architect and furniture designer Gustav Stickley in his magazine, “The Craftsman”. The Craftsman style bungalow reflected, said Stickley, “a house reduced to its simplest form… its low broad proportions and absolute lack of ornamentation gives it a character so natural and unaffected that it seems to… blend with any landscape”.

Today the Craftsman style architecture is making a comeback and you can certainly see why once you view the Ruby II and experience its feel of quality, character and class.

Diamond Construction has also been recognized as a leader in “Green Building” and energy efficient construction, winning numerous awards. In 2010, the Southwest Florida Water Management District certified the first home in Hernando County to meet the criteria of the Florida Water Star Gold program.
