Air Conditioning

SEER 13 Currently, our A/C units provide at least a SEER rating of 13. Combined with our additional energy-saving features, homeowners can potentially save 30-40% over a normal electric bill.

Tankless Hot Water

Tankless Water Heaters heat water as its demanded . Electric tank type water heaters are subject to stand-by losses which amount to 20-30% of the KWH used. Changing to a tankless system results in savings of up to 15 - 20% off your total monthly electric bill..

Keeping it Simple

Practical tips that modern, busy people can use.

Cut back on or stop using single-serving and single-use products that consume needless extra paper and plastic for packaging.

Use the dishwasher only for full loads for the most efficient water use. If you have a small number of dishes or pans to clean, wash them by hand. You’ll save the most water by filling a basin with just three to four inches of water, stacking the dishes as you wash them, and then rinsing them quickly under a light stream of water.

Always cover pots when cooking. It speeds up cooking and uses less energy.

Wash your car on the lawn, not in the driveway or street. the rinse water will water the lawn and be diverted from storm drains. Make sure you use an earth-friendly, biodegradable soap and use it sparingly. Or, take your car to a car wash that collects and recycles its rinse water.

Today's replacement to concrete blocks - ICF.

ICFs are hollow, light-weight "stay in place" forms made of two Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) panels which are connected by polypropylene webs. During construction, the forms are stacked to the desired height then filled with concrete making stable, durable and sustainable walls. They offer a "5 in 1" solution that provides structure, insulation, vapor barrier, sound barrier and attachments for drywall and exterior siding in one easy step. ICF structures require 30-50% less energy to heat and cool when used in conjunction with other energy saving products. They are also wind, fire and insect and rodent resistant as well.
